Expanding Eden’s designer and owner, Bryan Lee Ickes, has over twenty years experience helping businesses communicate their mission and values. He now specializes in partnering with municipalities, giving shape and color to the opportunities of belonging in the life of a community. That is the heart of Expanding Eden: Joy-filled relationships. Rootedness and love of the places we each inhabit.

Bryan takes time to learn about a company or organization’s vision and works closely with leaders to express that vision in beautiful and memorable ways.

AREAS OF EXPERTISE

  • You may know that you need some help but not know how to articulate what to ask. We provide audits for websites, apps, sign systems, and any other design creation. If you identify your goals, we will tailor our assessment and advise on next steps and an estimate budget to improve your product or service.

  • We review your value proposition and current marketing efforts, listen to your goals, and then provide experienced guidance to refine your visual, narratives, and customer journeys. Our aim is to improve clarity and make your deliverables more impactful.

  • Great brands are guided by praiseworthy products and services that enrich peoples’ lives. Like a conductor before an orchestra, we assemble different aspects of brands to work together seamlessly, including visuals, colors, fonts, messaging, and the selection of tech to convey ideas well.

  • I have ten years of extensive experience as a Senior Designer and creative lead on a robust project management application. From wire-framing to content architecture, and from designing in Sketch or Figma, I will help you think through your app’s value proposition, create intuitive pathways for different user types, and help iterate designs based on new data.

  • Whether a simple portfolio site or a media site with thousands of pages, we’ve designed for all manner of clients. We work in Squarespace for smaller projects and WordPress for larger ones that require more functionality. We design our sites with your brand in mind, often introducing complementary new design elements and photography that elevate your work.
